- Place the air mattress on top of the existing bed mattress
- Secure the mattress using the fixing flaps at both ends
- Connect the air tubes from the mattress to the air pump
- Hang or place the pump securely on the bed frame
- Plug the pump into a power outlet and switch it on
- Adjust the pressure level according to the patient’s comfort and weight
- Allow the mattress to fully inflate before use fully
- It is recommended to place a cotton bedsheet over the air mattress for extra comfort and protection
- Keep the pump running continuously for optimal alternating pressure support
- Clean the mattress surface regularly with a soft, damp cloth
- Avoid sharp objects or excessive folding to protect the air cells
